Frustration

What do you do when you're frustrated due to 68-year old schizophrenic downstairs neighbors?

I paint my bedroom ceiling, and inadvertently my face.

Up late...

It's 1:07am on a Monday night, what am I doing up so late?

Waiting for the Waco PD to come, that's right. Crazy Lady is at it again. This time, it started at 11PM with her ringing my doorbell incessantly. I didn't answer because I knew what that would entail (her yelling at me, calling me the devil, etc. etc. etc.). Apparently I'm "too loud" in my existence in the condo that resides above hers.

Regardless, I call the Waco PD office and ask if I can add this to the report that I currently have against her, and the nice man on the phone gives me the number for the detective on my case (who I have yet to talk to) saying he can't do anything, but to just keep documenting what she's doing.

Fast forward to 11:50pm, when I am awoken (yes, I was sleeping) by incessant doorbell ringing. What do I mean by that?

"Dingdongdingdongdingdongdingdongdingdong" until she gets bored.

What.

The.

Fuck?

She quits after about a minute straight.

I go back to sleep, and am awoken at 12:30.

Dingdongdingdongdingdongdingdongdingdong.

Bitch.

I go out and look through my peephole and sure enough, it is her. I have been SLEEPING this entire time and there is no way that any noise could have been made in my place, even from Chloe (who was now hiding under the bed from the loud noise).

This time, I grab my camera, put it on "video," and place it next to my bed for if it occurs yet another time.

What happens at 12:51am?

Dingdongdingdongdingdongdingdongdingdong.

This time, I catch the tail end of it on video, so I have documented proof of the time and her ringing the doorbell.

She then did it at 1:02am. I called the cops.

Now, it's 1:15am and I am sitting here, waiting for the Waco PD to come show up.

I am furious, and frustrated, and just want to SLEEP, damnit.

Birthday pictures!

Sorry for the delay in posting (especially Keith, who complained that he has no idea what is going on in my life even though he never updates his blog!)...life's been crazy!

Since you all did not get to spend my birthday with me [insert sad face here], I took some pictures for you to live vicariously though others who did.

The Ms had a series against the Rangers on my birthday weekend, so I decided to spend my day with my boys! I drove to Arlington with Candace and Carter, and at the stadium we met the Jaynes triplets!

The Ms lost on Friday (when we went; boooo!) but won on my actual birthday (Saturday), so they pulled through!

Carter and I taking a surprise pic for him mom. We're adorable, clearly. Notice how I used his unwavering trust in me to dress him up in Ms gear?!
Candace is in my Ms Griffey shirt as well!

On my actual birthday, Candace took me as her "date" (I say that in quotation marks, but apparently her family was questioning our sexuality because we spend so much time together) to a wedding. Her older sister was the maid of honor, and there was an open bar, so how could I not? :) The wedding was entirely too long (I should've driven my own car!), but I had a good time.

Here are Candace and I, over the wedding at this part.

And that's what I've been up to lately. Oh, did I mention studying and writing? That's why I haven't updated in forever, Keith, some of us are busy doing homework... ;)

Love you and miss you all!

Happy early birthday to me!

For an early birthday present (slash a good use for my tax return), I decided to finally give in and and get a bonded lower retainer. I've had retainers since I got my braces off in 9th grade (almost exactly 10 years ago!) but my bottom teeth kept shifting over the day, and the retainers would hurt to put in if I accidentally (or purposefully) skipped a night wearing them.

So, I got a bonded lower retainer! It's glued into the back of my bottom teeth. The orthondontist, Dr. Taylor, also shaved my bottom two teeth (you can kind of tell in the picture below) and a couple upper teeth just to even them out (I'm sure nobody else notices, even though I can tell a slight difference).

YAY!
