Gratitude Attitude

Today, I am grateful for:

-My mama, who brought me love, endless love, a huge Toy Story coloring book, Jell-O, and a Mary Roach book (along with many other things) to Texas

-My baby kitty Chloe, who has barely hissed at mom (grandma) all week

-My mom, for not yelling at me when I nicely tell her the speed limit she's not going ("Mom..." "Sarah, I'm going 62." "That's great, but the speed limit is 65!")

-Liz Lake, who has probably wanted to strangle me at least seven times but hasn't because she knows I'm sick and under the influence of Vicodin

I am a lucky, lucky woman.

Guess who got her tonsils taken out? I'm still wearing this shirt (this picture was taken yesterday...ew), and they gave me a Garfield bandaid. Overall, not the worst experience ever.

I've had some problems swallowing (it is just super uncomfortable and everything feels like it gets stuck in the back of my throat), and I threw up a couple of times earlier this morning (apple sauce does not taste good coming back up). I talk weird because it hurts, and I sleep a lot. I do have my amazing mother, however, so life is good.
