Linked up with Amanda after I saw Steph's Top Ten Tuesday post.
In honor of my trip back home (and let's face it, my love affair with Seattle), I present:
{Top 10 Reasons Why I Love the PNW}
{one} There is water everywhere (natural water, not man-made lakes).
{two} Around town, you have the most picturesque view in the world. Hello, Cascade Mountains and Mt. Rainier!
{three} Say it with me: drive-thru espresso stands! (But only the ones that are family-friendly and fully clothed.)
{four} Ferry rides. A round-trip visit to Seattle from Bremerton costs $7.10. Your visit? Priceless.
{five} M's games. Call us losers all you want, but I am now and will forever be a Mariners fan. Anybody still on the Refuse to Lose '95 train?!
{six} You can actually ride around in a convertible in May and not even sweat (or roll your windows down and feel the breeze, something that is gross and sticky in TX). In fact, depending on the weather, you could even have the heat on with the top down! Bliss.
{seven} You can drive for two hours and it feels like 20 minutes. The surrounding area is so beautiful that you forget you've been driving for so long.
{eight} Cops. This may be a down-side for Texans (or people who speed), but I love the presence of policemen on the road. They seem to be everywhere and may annoy those who like to break the law, but I love that they're trying to keep everybody safe.
{nine} Free wi-fi in Sea-Tac airport. Need I say more?
{ten} And last, but probably should be first, is that my fam lives there. Win!
Why wouldn't you want to live here?!
