Thursday Thoughts (Friday morning edition, 'cuz I fell asleep last night at 8PM)
{1} I cannot stress how much I love pools in this Central TX heat. I'm lucky I have friends with access to pools!
{2} I just watched the entire series (all of 24 episodes) of What About Brian in the past week or so. It was great background noise while I was doing some mindless work (reorganizing some bookshelves, housecleaning, cooking, etc.) and it was a lot of fun. However, it was probably the worst series finale ever. I'm still kind of bitter about it.
{3} Baylor New Graduate Student Orientation is next Wednesday, and I'm excited! I had to miss last year's because I got my tonsils out the week before and was not healed at all. If you get bored on Wednesday (8am-4PM Central) and want to know what's going on in Waco, TX, search Twitter's #NGSO.
{4} I just read the most hilarious article on CollegeHumor about "25 Things You Need to Stop Doing." My favorites: Starting a phrase with "I'm not gonna lie," making bathroom doors that are push to enter but doorknob to exit, and saying "That's what she said" ironically or unironically (my least favorite pop culture saying of all time).
{5} I really miss my parents, brother, Sandra, and the kids. Anybody want to buy me a plane ticket to Washington?
{6} My high school's cheer squad just put up a page on Facebook. OHS yes! I have a bunch of old photos that I'm going to scan in and post on FB, mostly to embarass friends. Maybe I'll do a flashback blog post? Here's a preview:
How was your Thursday?

I hate "I'm not gonna lie..."! I hope also on that list is ending any sentence with "...just sayin'." That is just as annoying to me.
I love old pictures. Especially old team photos. Oh and I love the new look! Happy Weekend. :)
Haha I was a cheerleader in HS too!!! Good memories ;)
Unironically? Never even heard of saying that..weird. And I hate when bathrooms have you pull to leave--i ALWAYS use a towel to open the door because ya never know who leaves without washing....yick.
BTW, LOVE your new look!!!
Oh my goodness your squad looks so nice and fun! I would have loved to be a cheerleader in High School (who wouldn't have?!) but never had the balls to do it! Jealous that you did! :) I loved that article too.
Also: header = awesome. Did you do that by yourself because I am QUITE impressed!
