Linking up with Lauren for another version of...

[one]
The holiday season is time to spend with fam, friends, and plenty of hot chocolate.
[two]
Snow makes me happy when it's fluffy and white, grossed out when rain or too many cars ruin it.
[three]
The best comfort food to eat when it's cold out is hot chocolate with plenty of marshmallows. Final answer.
[four]
Winter is the best time for using the fireplace, hot chocolate, cuddling, big blankets, snow angels, riding boots, peacoats, and catching snow on your tongue. Don't judge.

I can hardly wait for our visit to Seattle. What's up, SeaTown, what's up?
[six]
When it comes to holiday gifts, I prefer small but thoughtful over large and expensive.

If I were to rate my excitement about the holiday season on a scale from 1-10, I would say I wouldn't answer because I prefer Likert scales (they have a midpoint; that's what you get for asking a psychologist). Thus, I'd be the midpoint on the scale from 1-10, right at a 5.5. I will get more excited the closer we are to flying to Seattle, but right now it's hard for me to think it feels like Christmas. Wah wah.
Happy Friday, friends! What are your plans for the weekend? I'm hoping for productivity, as I feel like this week has been pretty blah.

Mmm hot chocolate :) I totally feel the same with snow. Small and thoughtful gifts are the best! :) Happy Friday!!! My weekend is filled with performances for my play, seeing my bestie for one last time tomorrow, and seeing my Boy tonight for at least a little bit :)
I love your blog! I randomly clicked on it from Greetings from Texas! and have fallen in love with your posts :) I'm following!

Hot chocolate with marshmallows...I totally agree! Even better if they're homemade marshmallows.
Much agreed on the holiday gifts, too. I love putting thought into gifts. It makes them so much more fun!
We found the peppermint marshmallows last week. And have had a mug of hot chocolate heavy on the marshmallows every night since. YUM!
I prefer the small but thoughtful gifts too. They just mean so much more!
Hahahaha non-Likert scales drive me nuts. I'm a mid-point kinda gal too. And hot chocolate, mmmm, I need some in my life right now :)
Speaking of chocolate, I don't really want to bring up the topic because it is a major source of embarrassment BUT your chocolate is in a box in my car right now. I am going to email you the tracking number tonight as evidence that is has shipped.
And... that's why I buy all my gifts online that I can't hand deliver. They would always be a Christmas too late =(
Hi Sar! I found your blog on FTLOB because your comment was the one below mine. How crazy that you're from Waco because I'm from Houston. I'm currently living in Daytona Beach, FL though. I LOVE your blog and am a new follower :) I hope you'll stop by my blog one day too.

Have a great weekend!

Yeah.. snow is only good if it hasn't been touched. And that most often, doesn't happen... so I'm not a huge fan. I AM a fan of hot chocolate though. So good!!
