(That's my favorite Starbucks Sunday bestie, Lee)
Recently (uhhh, not-so-recently in December, sorry Mandee), I was tagged in a blog post About Me game. Mandee at [the bear naked truth] invited me to play along and I kept meaning to get around to it. Whoops, as that was two weeks ago.
The cool thing is, in the two weeks it has taken me to finally get around to the post, Kate at Diary of a Blonde also tagged me!
So, I will now play the game and let you learn all about me:
[the rules]
1. You must post the rules.
2. Post 11 fun facts about yourself on the blog post.
3. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and then create 11 new questions to ask the people you've tagged.
4. Tag 11 people and link them on your post
5. Let them know you've tagged them!
Easy peasy!
[11 facts about sar]
I'm trying to not say anything I said during the 15 day challenge, so bear with me!
[1] If I could be on any reality television show, I'd be a taste tester on Top Chef. Um, hello: awesome job.
[2] As Hollie and Lauren know, I hate surprises. However, the only surprise I love is snail mail. There's something about getting a letter or package that makes life wonderful.
[3] I have not read The Hunger Games and I don't anticipate having starting anytime soon. The plot sounds interesting but terrifying at the same time.
[4] I also haven't read any of the Millennium series. I actually own these (thanks to Hillary!) but haven't been motivated to start. After Harry Potter, my pop culture literature knowledge is ziltch.
[5] Once I start a television show on Netflix, I have this insane need to watch the entire series (or however much is on Netflix Instant Play) immediately. This is usually indicative of a problem.
[6] I love my license photo so much that I think I'll renew online this year so that I can keep it. I had just turned 21 and I had the biggest smile on my face!
[7] In the past year, I have spent less and less time on Facebook and more and more time on Blogger. Y'all are amazing.
[8] My favorite place on earth is here.
[9] I frequently find myself wishing I was closer to certain friends, but feeling (or being) too awkward to let them know.
[10] The best part of my computer is the equation editor that came with Microsoft Office. Is it weird that I love using it?
[11] Watermelon gum = heaven.
[questions from mandee]
[1] What is the last thing you purchased? A skinny latte from Starbucks for Starbucks Sunday.
[2] Do you prefer salty or sweet snacks? Salty. Pretzels are amazing. But I love chocolate too!
[3] What is your favorite fashion trend right now? Mismatched bridesmaid dresses. Final answer.
[4] Are your nails painted? Yup, with clear polish. Nice and plain.
[5] What is one thing you wish you could improve about yourself? My style. I have a pretty plain style and almost always wear a blouse with a cardigan every day. Don't judge!
[6] Who is the last person to make you laugh? Old Man Lee, making fun of my awesome cheerleading skillz.
[7] What is one thing your significant other does to make you weak in the knees? Dancing. Nick will dance regardless of if there's music. I love it.
[8] What's your favorite holiday song? I can't pick just one! So here's seven.
[9] Would you rather stub your toe or have a paper cut? Paper cut. Superglue will fix that right up.
[10] Favorite book you've read this year? Oh gosh, I don't remember.
[11] New year's resolution? Floss daily.
[questions from kate]
[1] Who is your favorite Disney Princess and why? Jasmin, 'cuz she's adamant that she refuses to marry a prince just 'cuz he's a prince, and ends up with studly Aladdin. Plus she's besties with Raja, which is awesome.
[2] If you could change your major, what would you change it to? Well considering I'm well on my way to a PhD, I wouldn't change it! In undergrad though, I should've gotten a business degree and forgone graduate school. I could be making money right now!
[3] What is your best talent? Listening.
[4] Where would you most like to travel to? Greece.
[5] What is your New Year's Resolution? Floss.
[6] Sweet or savory? Depends, but usually salty and savory!
[7] What was the last song you listened to? "We No Speak Americano" by Yolanda Be Cool and DCup in the car on the way to Starbucks.
[8] What celebrity would you sleep with, no questions asked? I know it's a huge stereotype, but probably none as I bet many are crawling with diseases. Ew.
[9] What is your favorite television show and why is it so great? Full House, 'cuz every where you look, there's a heart. A hand to hold onto.
[10] Would you rather be at the beach or in the snow? Beach, for sure. With plenty of sunscreen, a good book, and a ton of snacks.
[11] What is your heritage? German and Norweigian. In fact, I just read an awesome book put together by my second cousin Andy about my great grandfather on my mother's side. He fought for the German army in the early 1900s, survived a plane crash (when planes were so new that survival was a rarity), and took a ton of pictures back when cameras were very uncommon. Family history is neat!
Alright, so I'm now going to tag some friends to do the same! I tag:

Can't wait to do this! Yay! =) Love your answer to the 'sleep w/ celebrity' question, and of course Full House. Man, I love that show. Although when I watch it now, all I think of is how bad the acting really was! =) Ha!
Happy Starbucks Sunday, Sar!
I love this! And I am going to be renewing my license online so I can keep my photo as well. I think that photo is as good as it's going to get!
