Linking up with Megan for another round of...

Dear Monday, You started off pretty rough after some bad news of a friend passing last night. Rest in peace, sweet friend. Your loving compassion will be missed.
Dear Honeybear, We had a fabulous conversation last night that lasted for an hour and included us each asking for the other's forgiveness at least three times. Your grace amazes me constantly.
Dear Shen Household, The Oscar party you threw last night was good for a heavy heart. I particularly loved the bingo (I lost) and Oscar trophy cookies. Plus your chicken tacos were the bomb.
Professional.
Dear 40 Days of Dissertation, I'm loving the dedication you're giving me. Please continue to be awesome.
Dear RG3, My lab partner Brian and I happened to run into you this morning when we noticed outside the Moody Starbucks window that there seemed to be a big stage and a few people around. Turns out you're officially on the cover of EA Sports' NCAA Football13. Sic 'em!
Dear Nicholas, You stopped by my office earlier this morning and wrote a secret message on my computer when I was next door in my lab. What a glorious surprise! You make my heart happy.
Happy Monday, friends. What are you thinking today?

Again, I'm so so sorry for the loss of your friend :( It's really hard to lose someone you personally know and see every day, especially if they're around your age. It's just surreal.
Secret messages are fun to get :) Hope your Monday gets better!

So sorry about your friend. We are much too young to say goodbye to friends. I'm excited you're rocking your dissertation!! And that Oscar party looks like lots of fun.
Always love reading your blog. That Oscar party looked great, even for someone who isn't that big of an awards show fan!
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend BUT glad to hear you have a supportive other half and a great group of friends to surround you with fun and laughter even in the hard times!

That Bingo card is super cute. I am going to remember to try to do this someday so I am officially pinning it from your blog!
so sorry to read about your friend. a friend of mine passed last month, and although he was sick it still is devestating to say goodbye to someone our own age. it really makes you appreciate the time you have now.

So sorry about your loss Sarah :(
Sorry to hear that you lost a friend. As someone said before, we are much too young to be losing friends already, but I also lost a young friend last month. On a brighter note, that party sounded super fun! And my brother goes to Baylor and he is interested in Neuroscience like you! Random I know, but I thought it was cool. :)
