Thursday Thoughts v.7

Happy Thursday friends!

You know the drill by now: write down a few things you've been thinking this week, and then link up below so that others can read what you've shared! Right click and save the photo above if you want to use one for the Thursday Thoughts link-up, or use your own!

[one]
If you missed the announcement yesterday, Nick just got another medical school interview! It seems as if our prayers for interviews worked well, so let's hope that our prayers for admittance work equally as well.

[two]
You all have been watching Revenge, right?! Since week 1, I've been in love. I won't comment on anything that happened in the most recent episode in case you haven't seen it yet, but Meghan and I were tweeting about it and I received the funniest response ever:

(For the record, I meant Takeda which means I was way off, but it's still hilarious my spelling was corrected.)

[three]
I finally received the German candy that I won in OK Lauren's first giveaway! To tell you the truth, I completely forgot about the package because the giveaway was a while ago (Lauren let me know that she's not the greatest at shipping things, so I wasn't too worried), so when it came in the mail earlier this week, it was an absolute surprise! [I took a photo to share on the blog and for some reason, it got deleted? I can't find it. Trust me that it's an awesome package.]

[four]
You know all those Ryan Gosling Tumblrs full of him being a feminist, or saying pick-up lines? Hillary (the same one who just won the MyTies giveaway!) just introduced me to Neuroscientist Ryan Gosling. This may not be funny to anybody but a graduate student, but regardless, I love it. My favorite: "Hey girl, you've decreased the amount of dopaminergic receptors in my limbic system...
...I wish I could quit you."

[five]
Guess who turns 24 next week? Studly McDreamyEyes! I know, he's a baby, but I'm so excited to celebrate! I have no idea what I'm going to do, as I already gave him his present (a plane ticket to his Harvard interview). Maybe make him dinner and decorate the house? I think he'd appreciate that. Any good ideas?

[six]
Remember how we talked about New Year's Resolutions and I said I wanted to floss daily? Guys, I have been flossing every dang day. You'd be so proud of me, I floss before I go to bed every day, sometimes once in the afternoon too! For someone who flossed very irregularly before January 1st, I'm kicking butt. Insert fist pumps and leg kicks here!

What are you thinking today?

Congrats on another interview, Nick!!! :-)

I LOVE the Ryan Gosling photos with the captions! There's a bunch of women in the sewing community that I follow that are making some that have to do with sewing and crafting, HILARIOUS!

I NEED your motivation for flossing! It's the one thing that I HATE HATE HATE doing!!! My gums are so wicked sensitive that I bleed like nobody's business every time I floss :-( The dentist keeps telling me, "the more you do it the less sensitive you'll be to it" - BULL! I did it for a month straight and it got worse! :-( YAY FOR YOU to keep with it, I can vouch for the fact that it's a big deal to be consistent with it! haha!

Love tons, Sar!!

Somehow I missed the last two episodes of Revenge so I got to watch both at once. I love/hate the suspense!!!

Congrats on your flossing success! I don't even have floss in my cabinet...I should really work on that.
