Dear Monday, The weekend was a nice start to April, so although I'm never too excited for your presence, at least you came in good spirits!

What a great idea for your birthday! You could maybe do books--to hospitals or homeless shelters or libraries. But stuffed animals would also be good. And that guy with the $50 gifts! So generous.

I like the idea of giving to celebrate your big day. Make it something meaningful to you, maybe books because reading is such a huge part of your life, or a frilly accessory that people don't normally buy for themselves. Something fun!

I love all those birthday ideas! I also think something as simple as going to a little diner and leaving a tip that's equal to the bill could be such a blessing to someone!
