Addy and I just had our last official event as Baylor GSA President and Vice President. Two years is a long time so I think we're both ready for this job to end, but the picnic was a blast!

At said picnic, we were worried about rain (as that was the day where Dallas had some tornadoes) but I ended up getting a sunburn instead. Texas is weird.

I signed up to to Lin's Favorite Things swap, and I was matched up with Renata! Let's just say that I think she's going to love her package...

My class had an exam yesterday, so tensions have been running pretty high (although with the long weekend, they don't have class until next Wednesday, which means they have a huge break to recover). So imagine my laughter when I receive the following text from a student:

Casey and Chance are getting married this weekend! I bought the cutest one-shoulder striped dress from NY&Co that I'm totally excited to wear. Nude patent leather pumps or nude canvas peep-toe wedges?

Oh my gosh I love that dress! I need a dress for a couple weddings (ok...maybe just actually one...) this summer and that might be it! I'm very wary of shopping online though, so I'll have to get up the guts first.

In my totally unbiased opinion, that gorgeous dress looks MUCH cuter on you than the model!
For the shoes, it depends on where the wedding's at! If you might be in grass, go for the wedges. If it's indoors, I might go for pumps instead!
You better take a picture of yourself in the outfit on your beautiful self!!! Sounds so pretty! :-)

THAT'S HOW I FEEL ABOUT STATISTICS. Though my teacher (whose name is Judith) wouldn't be as fun to tatto on my forehead. But I know how your students feel. A little cross-country empathy for ya there!
Didn't know you were a VP for Baylor's GSA! So exciting! Happy you had a good run - and sad that you're leaving! Is this your last semester there? I suck for not remembering that.
