Happy Thursday friends!
You know the drill: write down a few of the things you've been thinking this week, then link up below so that others can read what you've shared! Right click and save the photo above if you want to use it for the Thursday Thoughts link-up, or use your own!

OHMYGOSH. Are y'all as excited as me that Revenge is back?! I loved this week's episodes, but as one of my good friends tweeted, couldn't Emily Thorne afford better wigs? +100 awesome cool points for kicking a guy's butt in heels, though.

Speaking of television, remember how I told you that my favorite guilty TV pleasure is Dance Moms? They just came out with a Dance Moms: Miami and it sucks. Lifetime letdown.

Today is a Baylor tradition called Diadeloso (Day of the Bear, clearly) which although is Baylor sanctioned, kind of turns into a frat-tastic day of binge drinking and bad decisions. I'm going to the sanctioned events (and don't worry, I'll take photos) in a few, and then headed over to the unsanctioned events to document with my camera. It's like mardi gras for 19 year olds, so clearly it will be hilarious.

I lost motivation for my dissertation writing last week, but picked it up this week. Here's hoping to a productive weekend with plenty of words written!

I'm not a huge music person––I mean, I like it, but in general, I don't know many bands that aren't mainstream, I don't go to a lot of live shows, and I don't buy albums the day they come out. Unless, that is, the artist is Jason Mraz. I can't pinpoint the exact moment I fell in love with Mr. A-Z, but I'm pretty sure Jeff and Nick covered "I'll Do Anything" at one of their shows sophomore year and I had to listen to the rest of his collection. Anyway, Jason just came out with a new album (Love is a Four Letter Word) and it's fabulous. Hilariously, my two favorite songs are only on the deluxe version, so buy that. (Clare, thank you for the sweet email where you said "You Fckn Did It" reminded me of you. I can't tell if that's a compliment, but I love it!)
Time for Dia, which means I'm headed out! What are you thinking today? Link up and tell us here:

It's gross how much I secretly loved Dance Moms, and I am super disappointed with Miami. Come onnn Lifetime. You can do better than that!
Hey, whatever happened to that lady in Bremerton, WA who used to hook up with your Thursday Thoughts? She's been missing her Thursdays and I've been missing her thoughts. Give her a poke!
While I am not as big a fan of Jason Mraz as you are {though I do love his music}, it always makes me happy when I hear someone talk about their favorite artist in a way that shows they are truly inspired. I know I say it all the time {and probably sound like a broken record}, but that's how I feel about Taylor Swift. I love knowing that other people find the same type of joy in other music. It just makes life better :)

Obessed with Revenge! I literally email the links to ABC.com to all my friends until they're so annoyed they watch it and hop on the train
I'm the same way with music. And Jason Mraz! I've been to several of his shows and his is an album I'd buy (and did) the day it comes out.
Love Dance Moms! Agreed Miami was just not doing it for me.
Love your ideas for Thursday thought...by the time Thursday comes around I feel like so many things have poped into my head!

I canNOT wait to see the pictures you get from all the Diadeloso events!!!!
Have fun with Dia! Maybe you will even run into my sister and not even know it. I'll be scanning the background of all your photos to see if I can find her! haha
Don't hate me, but I've never watched Dance Moms or Revenge. I am so behind the times.
Love this! I'm psyched about Revenge and my husband is exactly the same with music! Linking up! :-D
Good luck with the dissertation, yikes!
I was so excited about Revenge coming back! Just watched the episode today & loved how she kicked that dude's butt.
Music & I are not bff's. I'm definitely not hip to the music now a days, I'm still stuck in the 90's.
TOTALLY a compliment! That song is Badass! :) I'm kinda obsessed. I am also listening to I Never Knew You on repeat and dreaming about choreographing it...
I love Dance Moms...but heard Miami would be bad so I didnt even give it a shot! xo
I feel like I have nothing to add...'cause I've never seen Revenge OR Dance Moms!
