Happy birthday Chris!

Dear Christopher,
Happy 27th birthday!
Today, four years ago, we were just starting our journey of love. I can't believe it's been four years since our faithful night in the gym where you stole the good treadmil and subsequently stole my heart. 

You've left me with so many good memories of you. I'm so grateful for everything you've brought into my life: love, patience, compassion, understanding, and Chloe-Bear. Remember when we first got her and we couldn't find a name for her? You said Chloe and immediately we knew. Hilarious that Elyse's baby chick also turned out to be a Chloe--the name must have been on your mind--but I wouldn't have it any other way.

We miss you.

There is a Christopher-sized hole in my heart (and in this world), but I'd take that over never getting the chance to know your heart. You were incredibly full of light and life for 24 amazing years, but know that I'm trying to share your light and life with the world.
