15 Day Challenge: Day 11

I hope y'all got to read all of the embarrassing stories from yesterday, because some of them made me crack up so hard that I got a side ache. So fantastic!

Today's prompt is brought to you by TPH (again!) even though he's kind of quit the Challenge train:

[Day 11]: What's one thing that you would never change about yourself?

Personality-wise, I'm gonna go with my sense of humor and optimism (for reasons stated earlier in the Challenge).

Physically, however, I'm going to say my hands.

(Awesome Photobooth photo, clearly.)

I have my mother's hands. I grew up holding onto my mom's hands in most situations (walking across the street, during a scary movie, when I needed support, etc.), and I remember seeing her hands and thinking that my mom had the most perfect hands of any woman. They're small, but strong (like my mom), soft but not; like the kind of hands that have stories behind them.

Imagine my surprise when I realized as an adult that I have my mother's hands! Besides her wit, good-hearted nature, damn good eye roll, and loving soul, I couldn't imagine inheriting anything better.

What's one thing you never want to change about yourself? Link up here:

That is really sweet! I always loved my mom's hands too but unfortunately did not inherit them! :)

So many women hate their hands, so it's nice to see someone who loves them! :) :)
I also think your personality-wise choices are phenomenal!

Aw I love that! You are blessed with a lovely mother.

The older I get, the more like my mother I become. It's pretty lucky. :)

I always looked at my mom's hands and found them so comforting. Even know I do. So sweet!

Haha such a cool answer! I haven't been able to think of anything yet, so I'm mining everyone else's answers for inspiration, and I never would have though of this! I have tiny, tiny hands, and I'd never want them to change either. :)

You made your mama cry! Wonder if I have my mama's hands, too? I love you, sweetheart.

Aw, love it! I have my mom's exact hands too. When I was younger I used to wish I had girlier hands but now I appreciate them a lot more :)

I wish I had nice hands. I always think that mine are small and stubby. Oh well... I'm stuck with them. :)
