I feel like this challenge is just getting bigger and bigger--and I love it! So far, a total of 65 people have said they are going to participate in some way, which is crazy and awesome (and 61 people have participated in both challenges...totally cool).
Did y'all like the six word memoirs? A bunch of people said they were confused by the prompt or didn't feel like they executed it well, and yet everybody had unique memoirs! I loved reading every single one of them (and if you haven't read a blog post comment from me yet, it's because I've been busy studying for and taking my qualifying exam yesterday--and yes, I passed!). To get down to business, today's prompt is:
[Day 3]: Tell us about an article of clothing you're attached to.
This is Rachel's prompt, so make sure you go tell her what you think about her favorite article of clothing!
The only articles of clothing I'm attached to are a plain t-shirt and Nike basketball shorts.
When Christopher died, Drew at Rottweiler Bikes made us all t-shirts in his memory with a bunch of trees on it and Christopher's silhouette (similar to this photo, except screen printed and without the text at the bottom). It's entirely too small for me to ever wear anywhere but around the house, and yet it's oddly comforting. I also have a pair of Christopher's shorts that he let me steal from his house four years ago and they have been mine ever since. :)
Can't wait to read yours! Link up your individual post here, and make sure you go stop by some other blogs as well!

First off, CONGRATS on passing your exam!
I love that you associate your favorite clothes with someone so special. I like to keep (*cough*steal*cough*) clothes or accessories from people I love. It makes me feel happy to wear them when I'm missing the person they represent. I still need to hit up a few people, but I have a nice collection so far.
Congratulations on passing your exam! I loved the memoirs. They were so fun to read and I didn't think it was confusing at all.
And my article of clothing is similar to your's as it's a tshirt of a friend of mine who passed away.
You are an awesome lady.
and thanks for hosting/creating this Challenge! I'm so glad so many people are joining in!
I love that you've been taking the time to comment on everyone's posts as well. Very cool!
Congrats on passing!! I loved yesterday's challenge and was so surprised with what I came up with! :) Today's was a lot of fun too!
Passing your exam merits more than a passing aside on your blog -- CONGRATULATIONS!!!! (Use your mom's Facebook logon and read all the nice comments she's getting after sharing your good news).
Sorry I'm not participating, but I love reading these! Thanks for hosting.
Such a sweet reminder of your friend!
Congrats on passing your test!! And, like some others have said, you're a super rock star for reading and commenting on everyone's posts. I'm trying to read them all, at least, but I've gotten way behind. So I'm extra impressed. :)
Is it sad that I now try to think of things in six words just to see if I can make it work? How do I make it stoooop???
Love that you have a shirt that is so special and has so much meaning. Makes my little post seem a bit silly.
Hi! I'm just now joining the link up so I did two day's in one ;) I love the challenges so far! Can't wait to read everyone else's posts. <3
My clothes can't really be warn outside of the house either! I think we get attached to the clothes we can be in when we're just being ourselves. Kind of in the same way that we like certain people more than others.
Congrats on passing your exam! I bet that has to feel wonderful :)
I love how sentimental your clothes are. I can only imagine it's a bittersweet. Thanks for sharing that!
*raises hand* I was one of those people who felt like they didn't execute yesterday's prompt correctly. Lol!!
This post made me tear up, Sar. I know exactly how you feel about the simplest thing having the most meaning. Beautiful post.
Congratulations on your test!! :)
that is awesome...so so so awesome.
I am so sorry for your loss, but isn't it amazing how a piece of cloth can comfort us to our core! <3
Congrats on passing your test. AWESOME!
The shirt sound amazing! I have shirt from my cousin after she passed, Some days I can't wear it.
YaY!!! For passing your test. What an amazing story. I think about love ones often that I have lost. It's so nice to be able to have something so personal to relate to them by.
It's wonderful you're leaving commits for everyone. It's definitely motivating to continue documenting our lives when we see that someone else is interested in it. Thanks, Sar! :)
ABD! ABD! ABD! I just found out what that meant a few months ago when my aunt reached that point in her PhD. Congrats! :)
Congratulations on passing your test! I love that your shirt has SO much meaning behind it.
I have a shirt like that too, some times you just need to feel like you have a piece of that person!
