Thursday Thoughts v.27

You know the drill, friends! Write down a few things you're thinkin' today then link up below so that others can read what's on your mind!

[1]
I have successfully been working out daily for two weeks straight. Totally proud of myself.

[2]
Recently, I've been super productive mostly because of an off-handed comment from my professor about priorities. [I hate it when it's assumed or implied that I'm not appropriately managing my time well, especially when I know how I work.]

[3]
Lucy (of Waco's Big Brothers Big Sisters fame) is moving out of the state to Nashville, TN where her stud of a boyfriend just got an assistant coaching (err, something like that) basketball job at Tennessee State. She was one of my few non-Texan (and non-southerner!) friends here, so I'm sad about it (but so happy for her to be able to move to a city!). Today's our last lunch, so I'm going to surprise her with some fun Waco things.

[4]
I'm dog-sitting for all of July, and this is what I came home to yesterday.

It's hard to be this cute, I'm sure.

Have you entered the Shabby Apple giveaway yet? $50 credit, friends!

That's my week so far! How about yours? Friday is almost here, guys! Whatcha thinking today?

Great job of keeping up with your work outs! I almost never can work out two days in a row because I'm lazy. LOL.

Yay for super productivity!

I get my life planner today. Has yours been everything you thought it'd be? I can't wait for it to be in my hands!

I saw that pup on your Instagram but thought it was yours! I'd probably never give him back LOL!

Good for you for sticking with the work outs, how do you find motivation/time to fit them in every day?! I need some serious drive.

Booooo to your friend moving! :( That totally blows.
I'm so proud of you for being consistent in working out! Man if only i had your determination and commitment!

That's pretty good to be working out so consistently! I want to, but it's hard in 95-100 degree weather! Of course I know many parts of the US are having even hotter weather, I don't know how people do it!

What a sweet dog! So sad to see your friend go, I'm sure, but yay exciting things in her life! I hope you guys can keep in close contact. :)

Boo for your friend leaving, but yay Nashville! :P

And I'm about 117% sure I'd NEVER give that dog back. I want one sooooooooooo badly!

Not a fan of comments like the one from your professor, but I guess if it's making you more productive...I could use some constructive criticism myself right now about getting things done haha...

This pup is just so sweet...I agree with others above. I don't think I could give him back!

xoxo,
Joelle

I'm sorry you have to say goodbye to a good friend. Just had to do that recently and it suucccckkks.

Also, I have a problem with managing my time, which is why I'm jealous that you've worked out for two weeks straight. Need to work on that!

Way to go with working out. I've been at it for 2 months and I've never felt so good. Not to mention it's a great way to unwind and de-stress! This is my first time linking up with you. I was just sitting around thinking about a Thursday post and logged in to find "It's Me Again....Pamela" was participating in this. I couldn't resist it. My English teacher in 10th grade told me I was incredibly immature and even though I was in his class, I should have been in the 9th grade class [I was one year ahead in English].
PERSONAL CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.
At the end of the year, he told me he was proud of me for doing so well and stepping up my game.
IN YOUR FACE STUPID PROFESSORHEAD. That's pretty much what I was thinking, as I was placing a fart machine under his desk. muwhaha

Good on you for keeping up the exercise! I have finally been allowed back to the gym after a week, but I'm still not allowed to work out properly - just cardio. Still, it's good to be back - the aim is every day this week til I go away on Friday.

Great for you working out so much!! That is my goal for the next few weeks, too :) And that dog is just precious!!
