Syndal sent me the sweetest surprise package that I got in the mail on Tuesday! I swear she knows me than most people I know in real life. Proof: I already had the "Love is all you need" chalkboard up in my living room, and she sent the block sign on the left. Perfect, right?

Thanks Syn. I'm so grateful for you, Mrs. Ortman!

Our GSA intramural volleyball team is currently undefeated, 'cuz we're awesome like that. We couldn't come up with a better name, but we have taken to saying G-G-G-S-A (in G-G-G-G-Unit fashion) which makes us that much cooler.

I have gone on two photoshoots this past week for friends who needed shots for different reasons. I got to play around with my Nifty Fifty a little more, which was good! 

First, Kristi graduated from the PsyD program at Baylor this past August and is starting clinical practice with a private practice group in Houston. They use headshots for their website, so she wanted some shots she could use that looked nice but not too formal. We chose to go in front of Baylor's Pat Neff because it's gorgeous and looks collegiate. 

Then, my friend Sammie wanted some shots she could put up on her photography website so we went to a local arboretum last night to snap a few. 

I've come to the conclusion that I have ridiculously attractive friends.

I (we!) finished a project in my lab this week and all I could think about was sticking it to The Man. The labmate (B.Rizzle) and I rocked out to ridiculous songs in celebration.
