Life of Love

Sorry for the late post (1PM!), but I didn't bring my computer with me this weekend and just got home. What was I doing, you ask? Well...

This weekend, I had the most fabulous nonfat white mocha (both Saturday and Sunday mornings!) at a great little coffee shop in Oxford, Mississippi called High Point Coffee. Delicious!

What was I doing in Oxford, Mississippi you ask?

This weekend, I went to Oxford (where Ole Miss is located) to see A&M kick their butts in football! (I'm not an A&M fan, but my friend Nic is an alum and asked me to tag along, so I obliged.)

This weekend, I betrayed Baylor and wore an A&M jersey. Don't worry though Bears, you're still #1 in my heart!

This weekend, I ended up tailgating for six hours in the pouring down rain. And it was hilarious!

This weekend, I saw chandeliers. In tents. At a tailgate. The South is weird, y'all.

This weekend, I flew over the Rangers Stadium at Arlington playing the Baltimore Orioles...

...and, this weekend, I cheered on the Orioles (after they beat Texas!) when my dad's former player, Jason Hammel, was the starting pitcher against the Yankees! (BOO that they lost, but when Jason left the game, it was 2-2!) It's Hammel Time!

What you'd do this weekend? Link up and tell us!

Hahaha the South is a weird place. (I think being married to a southern boy I am allowed to say this since I put up with all of his weird sayings ;))

Love that airplane view photo! What a great perspective.

HAHAHA! I know i haven't been tailgetting enough compared to most of my Louisiana people... but i've never heard of a chandelier in a tent?! ;)

The chandeliers are hilarious! I live in Buckeye country now - so nothing surprises me anymore.

Chandeliers in tents? That's nothing. Last fall at a Buckeye game I saw a flat screen TV, probably 32 inch, on the back of a truck. Like, BUILT IN to the back. For real. I wanted to take it home. They take their tailgating seriously...

Glad you had a great weekend :)

This weekend is a great post starter!! Cool.

Your hair is pretty. How do you style it?

Looks like you were at Ole Miss, one of the best tailgating experiences in the south!
What a great weekend!

What a fun weekend! I miss tailgating.

Southerners take their football and tailgating quite seriously. It's our way of life. :P

Those chandeliers are awesome! Looks like you had a very fun weekend. :-)

Your weekend looked amazeballs.

Also, it's not weird to have chandeliers in tents.

What's weird is that those chandeliers were not made of antlers!

How cool! I've been wanting to go to an A&M game. I've never tailgated before!! (And yes, I'm from the south!) I'm totally going to link up!

Sounds like you had a good time, and I guess I'm not surprised by the chandeliers in tents. Our tailgates at the Seahawks games revolved around food and booze, not necessarily in that order :) Glad you got the chance to experience the real deal in the south!

What a fun weekend! Seeing this reminds me there is life beyond my tv & computer screen haha.

Sounds like fun! I love the South, but yes, it's weird. Chandeliers? Why?

You were in Mississippi and only 2 hours from me.... we are North East of Oxford... Football especially College is crazy -- you know me and Soccer... so I am a fish out of water down here... but I am glad you had a blast and I love reading your blog...
