I've had students give review presentations in class twice this past week, and both times (at two separate schools), they came up with a NERF gun-related review game.
At Baylor, the Fly Swatter game where teams have to "shoot" the correct term after hearing the definition.
And at Mary Hardin-Baylor, where students got to shoot a target if they answered questions correctly to win candy.
Guerilla-love all around.

This weekend I have plans to go visit Neely with Stephanie, along with going to the state fair and Dry Bar. Looking forward to a fun weekend filled with good friends, girl talk, and plenty of wine.

Sometimes, working at Baylor makes me forget how much I loved undergrad and the college experience. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Baylor was (and is!) great for people, but I loved my smaller university and the connections I made (Baylor is just so much bigger than PLU). But, randomly outside the building where I work, I saw this message and realized that the Baylor community is alive and well, existing in its own way.

Love some Nerf guns! My parents got us all (including themselves) Nerf guns for Christmas one year so we could all play together. Good memories!
That sidewalk chalk art is so heart warming. Someone was spreading the love! I saw another friend from Baylor instagram one that said "you are lovely". I just love that :)

I totally miss being a student sometimes ;) My undergrad was a super small school and I loved the relationships I formed there. My M.Ed was done at a HUGE school and I never felt like I was even apart of it!!
I'm intrigued by Drybar...please do take before and after photos. Regardless of how your hair turns out...YOU ARE WORTH LOVING! And I do.
My brother is currently attending a university where he sometimes has 500+ in his classes.
I went to a private college and LOVED the smaller environment!
