I think y'all liked RP3, as evidenced by the numerous comments, tweets, texts, and emails I got regarding yesterday's blog post. Either that, or you guys thought I was this crazy cat lady who couldn't get anyone to date her. ;) I have a date this weekend with him, so I promise I'll let you all know how awesome it goes ('cuz I'm anticipating it's gonna be great). Thanks for the support, friends.

I think some people think I overexaggerate when talking about my office mate/lab partner B.Rizzle. Caught him in the office yesterday chewing on a full carrot and looking like this [not making this stuff up, guys]:

Remember my student who wrote the most awesome extra credit on her exam last week? This week, she dressed up as a lion and sung her Lion King parody in front of the class. I have the best students ever.

Last, but certainly not least, today's my mama's birthday (go say happy birthday)! It's tradition in my family to wake up the birthday person with a rousing round of "Happy Birthday," so I got my students in on the game and called her. We all sung to her at 7:30am in the morning (PST), so I'm pretty sure her birthday started out awesome. You should still go say happy birthday to her, guys!
