Sunday Social: An introduction to Sar at [life of love]

What's the name of your blog? How long have you been blogging?

My blog's name is [life of love], mostly because, well, my life is full of love! I'm a believer in putting your heart out there (for romantic love, but also for joy!), so this was the perfect title. I've thought about changing it a few times but alas, nothing seems to fit quite like [life of love] does. I've been blogging since I moved to Texas in 2008, but I didn't open my blog up to uninvited readers until early 2010.

Why do you blog?

To be completely honest, I have no clue. Mostly because I love the blogging community, I think--in fact, I girl talk with bloggers far more than anybody I know in person (although the bloggers I girl talk with, I now know IRL). I do not believe in blogger sponsorships (aka I don't think I should "pay" other bloggers to mention me or have an ad up on their page to my blog) because I want readers, not followers. But that's just me. ;)

What's your favorite post you wrote in 2012?

Aaaaah. I'm gonna go with 26 Gifts to 26 Strangers (for my 26th birthday)--although the post from 2012 that has the most views is the one where I got dumped (not gonna link to that, 'cuz I never even think about that anymore!).

What are your blogging goals for 2013?

Y'all write blogging goals?! Shit. Ummm...well I want to do another birthday extravaganza involving strangers (maybe 27 Gift Cards? 27 Acts of Kindness? Asking blogger friends to do an act of kindness in my honor? Who knows...), and since the 15 Day Challenge has crazy popular, I'll be hosting another one (probably May or June? I haven't decided yet!). 

Name your top 3 favorite blogs!

I have way more than 3 that I love! First off, I love Jena at Recently Roached (seriously, my girl crush on her hasn't subsided through an election year...pretty sure it's true love). I also seriously giggle reading Tamara over at Lehmann Laughter (quite possibly my favorite Baylor person ever). Lastly, my blogger-turned-besties friends Sarah, Neely, and Steph ('cuz you can never have too much girl talk)!
