This Weekend, I... v.17

Happy Monday, y'all! If you're anything like me, you didn't actually have work today due to MLK Jr. Day--hope your weekend continues all throughout the day! But, to commence our normal Monday link-up:

This weekend, I opened a Blog Hop (along with 5 other bloggers) in which you link up and then go visit other blogs to find more to follow. It's open all week, so make sure to sign up and find new blogs to read! (Also, if you're visiting from the hop, make sure that you're not a No-Reply blogger so I can shoot you a response back!)

This weekend, RP3 and I went out to lunch with my bestie Liz and her husband Travis, a perfect start to the weekend!

This weekend, I got to celebrate Carole's impending (that sounds ominous...forthcoming?) wedding! I met Carole when she was the sweetest, most amazing barista at my favorite Starbucks, and we bonded over our shared love for psychology and all things mental health-related. She's now getting married to Cody (who was also a Starbucks barista when I met him!) in March, and I cannot wait to celebrate some more!

This weekend, we watched the Butler/Gonzaga game! RP3 went to Butler so he's a proud alum, so we went over to watch the game with Drew and Paige. If you have any interest in basketball, haven't watched ESPN this weekend, and haven't seen the end of the game, you need to see the amazing last play to win the game (it's 2 min into that clip)!

It was an unprecedented 68 degrees in Waco yesterday, so this weekend, RP3 and I went on a 3.5-mile walk/hike in Cameron Park. So gorgeous, and a great day for it!

This weekend, we found a new favorite show. Liz and Travis recommended it, but we didn't know if we'd love it or not until we watched the first episode. It's called "Total Blackout," and it's a gameshow (hosted by Jaleel White, y'all) where people are supposed to identify objects/guess the weight of things/travel a maze--but all in the dark. It's hilarious, and you need to watch it because you will be laughing the whole time (all the season 2 episodes are on SyFy.com).

(Here we are, consuming ice cream and alcoholic beverages while giggling at other people being terrified of a baby goat in the dark on television.)

Happy weekend, friends! Hope you're still getting the day off. Link up with me or Syndal and let us know how your weekend was/is!

Oh man! I don't know whether to watch "Total Blackout" for the hilarity, or be totally afraid of it and avoid it like the plague (because I am not a fan of the dark, either). Decisions, decisions.

What a fun weekend! :-)

That gameshow sounds hilarious. Plus, the fact that Steve Erkel..ahem...Jaleel White..is the host is reason enough to watch!

We do the ice cream and booze while watching that show every single weekend!

Dude! That show is hilarious. Didn't know about it until you mentioned it here...probably because I don't have cable. SOO funny!

So...I did watch the Butler vs GU game. BUT...I am a Gonzaga alum...so I wasn't as thrilled with the ending! Ha! But it was a good game...and if I were you guys I would be bragging about it for a long time! :)

Holy moly this was serendipitous! I got up this morning and decided to write a weekend in review post (complete with props to you for your glitter frame idea). Afterward, I was catching up on my blog roll and found your link-up. It was meant to be!

You two are so cute in your basketball shirts. :) That Half-Baked ice cream is totally calling my name right now. Yes, it's only 8:22am but hey, it's never too early for ice cream right??
