RIP Mac's Studio Sculpt Concealer

Guys. I just went to my local M.A.C. store and heard the worst news.

They've discontinued my favorite concealer.

It's the Studio Sculpt line, which means it was extra thick--which most people hate, I'm sure, but it worked wonders for my (almost creepily dark) undereye circles and occasional massive might-as-well-still-be-in-high-school pimples.

Alas, they discontinued the line. (And, of course, Amazon has all other colors from other makeup retail stores except my shade.)

Curse you, M.A.C.

I need your help. Does anybody know of a good thicker concealer that works well?! I've been directed to Benefit's Boi-ing by two different people so I'm leaning that way.

By the looks of it this reminds me of Benefit's Erase Paste! I have no idea if they really are similar, but it's thick and might work! I HAAAAATE when my favorite things are discontinued. It makes me want to hoard anything I already use now!

I don't wear makeup enough to help... don't even own concealer. :(

For under-eye concealer I use Mary Kay, not sure the name but it's just a little black tube. It's definitely the best! I'm cursed with genetic dark circles even when well rested, and I when I don't wear the concealer I tend to get multiple comments like "you look rough today." Ouch. Needless to say, I feel your pain!

Amazing Concealer by Amazing Cosmetics. I dedicated a blg post to it! You can find it at Ulta & Sephora. It covers my lupus rashes beautifully, dark circles, and the horrible acne I get from my lupus meds. a tube lasts FOREVER! Seriously changed my life. You won't regret it, worth EVERY penny!!

I'm not exactly an expert...or even a novice when it comes to makeup. But I do love Benefit products in the rare times that I do put on makeup.

I hate when something I really like gets discontinued. So annoying! Good luck w/ finding something else.

This is one of my worst fears... that one of my beauty products will be discontinued. I use a lot of Clinique products which I've been happy with and I've switched things up a bit with no bad results...maybe try them? Sorry Charlie...that is a bummer! Hope the rest of your weekend is superb!

Here's a link to the blog post I wrote about that concealer. There's a before and after picture, so you can see how it works wonders.

Happy concealing!
