This Weekend, I... v.21

This weekend, I was in charge of Date Night with me and RP3, then subsequently totally dropped the ball when the brewery happy hour we were going to go to became sold out within an hour. Oops. Luckily, RP3 and I are laid back so we Googled a few options and accidentally stumbled upon a comedy show entitled Mortified. It's a fabulous live show in which people share embarassing writings/poems/plays/videos of their adolescence and then giggle about how ridiculous they were with the audience (you can see a promo video here). It was the funniest two hours I've had in a very long time, and I was crying because I was laughing so hard (RP3 agrees: it's hilarious). 

This weekend, I took RP3 up on Mount Bonnell, a tall hill (definitely not a mountain) that overlooks Austin's city and surrounding areas (downtown is behind RP3's head in this photo). It's an ATX must-do, plus it's about the only elevation change that Central/Southern Texas has.

RIP, those Forever 21 teal flower earrings that broke on the car ride after.

This weekend, I celebrated Carole's upcoming nuptuals by joining in with her bachelorette party in Austin. Included were games, lingerie, hot dogs (at a lovely restaurant called Frank), and plenty of liquor.

This weekend ended with RP3 and me, sharing quality time together eating gyros and ice cream. Life is good.
